Nails Files and High Five for Friday

1.  My aunt gave me these sandals!!  She bought them for herself and didn't like the way they fit.  So, I'm the only other one that wears a size 6 (yea for small feet)...Thanks, Aunt Shirley - you have darn good taste!!

2.  I got to use my new nail polish from this swap!

3.  I went to eat lunch on Tuesday with Chastity at Chipotle...yum!!  Then Tuesday night, I met one of my first cousins and a second cousin at Bravo Cucina Italiana for dinner...yum again :)  I forgot to take pictures at BOTH places....what is wrong with me?!?!

4.  I ran my best run so far this week!  I am NOT a runner but I'm training for my first 5K next month.  Can't wait to check it off my 30 Before 30 List!

5. I went to the carnival in my hometown...my mom refused to ride the ferris wheel but I at least had to take at picture.

    Looks like you had a great week! Love the sandals! Congrats on the training! It feels wonderful! I just finished my first 10K in years and am training for a marathon...yikes!! great post!

H54F and Nail Files

Linking up with Tara @ Fabulous but Evil and Lauren @ From My Grey Desk 1. New Manicure... Ulta: Ruby Slippers .  Not very springish but I was just feeling the red this week. 2. Scentsy Order - Doesn't this look fun?!?!  I love getting orders in...it's just like Christmas!!  Check out all the new spring items here ! 3. A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
