Chicken Parmesan Bake

By the time I get off work, get home, workout, and clean up the house - I love a good, easy recipe for dinner!  And this is one of those recipes!!  It took about 10 minutes to prepare and it was in the oven.  And 45 minutes later, it was on the table!  I guess it also helps that it was YUM-O (thank you Rachel Ray for that word and EVOO)

What You Need:
2 T Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
4-6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
2 C Marinara Sauce (I used the whole jar!)
1/4 C Chopped Basil (original recipe called for fresh - I used dried)
8 oz. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
4 oz. Grated or Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 5oz. Package Garlic Croutons

What You Do:
1. In a 9x13 baking dish, spread olive oil and garlic evenly over the bottom.  Lay chicken breast on top.
2. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken breasts and then sprinkle with basil.
3, Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.  Layer croutons over the cheese.
4. Sprinkle the top with remaining cheeses.
5. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes.

Enjoy!!

You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. All of these polishes are slightly used (maybe 2 or 3 times) except for the CHI brand and the green Ulta one - those have never been used.  The glitter pots and the lipgloss are also brand spankin' new. a Rafflecopter giveaway

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
