Date Night: Drive-In Movie

Neither of us have ever been to a drive-in theater; so as part of our anniversary celebration, I decided we should try one out.  There is one about 30 minutes from our house in Guthrie, OK called Beacon Drive-In Theatre.  This weekend, they were showing the new Batman movie...what a coincidence!!  :)  This was David's 3rd time and my 2nd time seeing it.  I'm pretty sure David would go watch it every week if he could.




We had to have movie snacks!!

Here is David Batman on the big screen (hope it's not illegal to take pictures...at least I didn't video it!)

And here is Bane!  I am going as a girl version of this villain for Halloween this year!  My costume is almost complete!!

We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go back!!

    That used to be the norm Sat nite ritual. Glad you liked the experience. Not many drive-in theaters remaining. Fun story! ~Char

    So fun! and I need to see that movie already! We had a drive in here in town but it was on the shady side of town and it got ghetto.. they finally shut it down a few yrs ago and I miss it! Such good childhood memories there!

    Awesome date! I love going to the drive in, but haven't been in years. It was the place to be in high school! And I STILL haven't seen The Dark Knight Rises. I can't wait to hear more/see your costume!

    I swore I commented on this, but I don’t see it. I love the drive in! We have one 10 minutes from us but haven’t been in years. It was the place to be in high school! I still haven’t seen Batman either. Ugh! I really want to go to the drive in now!!! I’m glad you guys had fun and I can't wait to hear more and see your costume!

Oh, How Pinteresting!

H54F and Nail Files
