OKC Thunder Wreath

As many of you know, the OKC Thunder are playing in the NBA playoffs and David and I are huge Thunder fans!!  They won the first game and play the 2nd tomorrow night, I believe!!  I even chose my Julep Maven box one month because the polishes were blue and orange.  And here is one of my first ever blog posts of us in our Thunder gear.  If we could go to every game, we would.  I decided instead of buying a Thunder wreath and spending about twice the amount, I would just make one!  It was sooo easy - thanks to this website .  I love all of her videos!  I don't think I will ever buy a wreath again.  I made this fun little collage in my new favorite iPhone app called Photo Collage .  It was free until I fell in love with this heart one and then I was suckered into paying $1.99 so I could get it.  So not fair! I got all of my supplies at Hobby Lobby.  I used: 1 Large Wreath Form   (our front d...

I got my October Julep Maven Box in the mail this past weekend!  Woot! Woot!  I chose the "American Beauty" for this month for 2 reasons: 1. I think the orange crackle will be really fun and 2. I love opening up my Julep box - it's like Christmas :) Such cute packaging Quick Dry Polish Drops - I seriously can not wait to use these!  I'm so impatient when it comes to waiting for nail polish to dry!  Love these little glitter pots - but let's be honest - I'm a little intimidated by them!  I can already see the mess I am going to make with these! I got these colors: Eloise - smokey indigo blue Sabrina - orange shimmer crackle They even through in some candy corns! Want your own Maven Box??  Sign up here ! "Thunder Up!"

David and I went to the OKC Thunder vs. LA Lakers Playoff Game last night and had a blast! It was the best game so far this season! We've never been so *into* the game as we were last night. It was such a close game but Thunder came out ahead winning it 101-96! The crowd was absolutely crazy...including us. :) I sat next to a really nice older couple that had been to *EVERY* Thunder game! She had so many fun Thunder toys...noise makers, flags , etc. She just kept pulling things out of her purse ~ I swear it was like one of those magic hats! We ate awesome Philly Cheesesteak Fries and had a Diet Coke that we bought in a souvenir cup . They even gave out free Thunder shirts and pom poms to everyone in the crowd! The game didn't get over til after midnight so we were sooo tired and ready to get home and go to bed. Can't wait for the next game we get to go to! THUNDER UP!!
