Nail Files: Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength : Save the Date (on my nails AND the cuticles around my nails ... I like to match like that)  I need to stop painting my nails while watching tv! Sally Hansen Diamond Strength nail polish is one of my FAVE FAVE FAVE lines!  It keeps my nails seriously strong - which is what I need because my nails break, crack, split...all of the bad things nail can do, mine do.  This is the only polish I've ever used that really really works to make my nails strong and actually grow.  I LOVE it.  Now for a funny story I know you are all just dying to hear!  :)   The first Christmas David and I lived together (before he popped the question), I opened my stocking and inside were 4 Diamond Strength nail polishes (he did listen when I raved about it!).  The names of the polishes were as follows: 24 Karat , Honeymoon Red , Diamonds , and Forever Lilac .   Let's back up to when I was a little girl and eve...

I got my October Julep Maven Box in the mail this past weekend!  Woot! Woot!  I chose the "American Beauty" for this month for 2 reasons: 1. I think the orange crackle will be really fun and 2. Blue and Orange for OKC Thunder!!  It's almost that season again...can't wait!! I love opening up my Julep box - it's like Christmas :) Such cute packaging Quick Dry Polish Drops - I seriously can not wait to use these!  I'm so impatient when it comes to waiting for nail polish to dry!  Love these little glitter pots - but let's be honest - I'm a little intimidated by them!  I can already see the mess I am going to make with these! I got these colors: Eloise - smokey indigo blue Sabrina - orange shimmer crackle They even through in some candy corns! Want your own Maven Box??  Sign up here ! Loving Lately: My Discovery of MAC Cosmetics

I am 29 years young and I have JUST discovered MAC.  Yes, it's true.  I have apparently been living under a rock.  In a bubble.  Something!!  I ran out of foundation this weekend and decided to give it a try.  And O.M.G. I am so glad I did.  Ok - here are my face issues... 1. Oily Eyelids - eyeshadow creases within an hour...not fun. 2. Oily Face - makeup disappears and the shine is outta control...not fun either!! 3. Acne Scars - the dark spot kind...ugh!  4. Acne - why do I have acne at 29???  It just isn't fair to have to use acne treatment AND an anti-aging cream!!  I went to the MAC counter with absolutely no makeup on whatsoever....I was not lookin' pretty!  They were having a special event to market their "after hours" collection  and there was a model there with her husband who is apparently a famous NBA basketball player from the LA Clippers.  I guess I should've gotten a picture bu...
