Random Thursday: I'm Addicted To

Linking up for the first time with Meg, Em, and Lin for their Random Thursday Link Party :)

1. Magazines.  I have a problem with buying them every time I go to the store.  I also subscribe to about 5 different ones.  I love going to Barnes and Noble and buying 3 or 4 at a time - magazine hoarder??

 2. Decorations.  If my bank account would allow it, I would change our decorations every 6 months.  I just love so many different styles, colors, and themes.  Should have been an interior decorator.

3. Shoes.  But then again, what girl isn't??  See my shoe obsession here.  Don't judge!

4. Makeup and Perfume.  Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been a makeup and perfume junkie.  I remember going through my mom's Avon catalogs and making a LONG list of things I wanted.  And when she would get the perfume and makeup samples from Mary Kay and Avon, I would always steal ask for them!

5. Bath and Body Works - ANYTHING!  I love it so much I'm doing a giveaway this week!

6. Dr. Pepper.  This has always been my beverage of choice.  I'm pretty sure it runs in my family because my Granddad loved it and so does my Dad.  I finally made the switch to Diet Dr. Pepper about 3 years ago because it was so bad for you and now I'm slowly switching back to regular (when I need something other than water) because aspartame is bad for you too.  Make a health Dr. Pepper, people!!  I'm also loving Zevia right now too - but it's just so dang expensive!

Well, this was a fun link-up party...thanks girls for hosting!  I also just realized this may be my only post without pictures so I'm adding this for fun :)

Nail Files and a Giveaway

Today I'm linking up with Tara and Vicki  for their fabulous linkup party, The Nail Files. Essie : Turquoise and Caicos Julep : Ivy Annnnd...I'm doing something a little special for my readers today - a nail polish giveaway!!  I am admittedly copying Christina over at Easily Entertained .  :) She recently did a nail polish giveaway (that I missed out on..boo) and I thought what a GREAT way to get rid of some of my overflowing collection of polishes!!! You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. All of these polishes are slightly used (maybe 2 or 3 times) except for the CHI brand and the green Ulta one - those have never been used.  The glitter pots and the lipgloss are also brand spankin' new. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Loving Lately: My Discovery of MAC Cosmetics

I am 29 years young and I have JUST discovered MAC.  Yes, it's true.  I have apparently been living under a rock.  In a bubble.  Something!!  I ran out of foundation this weekend and decided to give it a try.  And O.M.G. I am so glad I did.  Ok - here are my face issues... 1. Oily Eyelids - eyeshadow creases within an hour...not fun. 2. Oily Face - makeup disappears and the shine is outta control...not fun either!! 3. Acne Scars - the dark spot kind...ugh!  4. Acne - why do I have acne at 29???  It just isn't fair to have to use acne treatment AND an anti-aging cream!!  I went to the MAC counter with absolutely no makeup on whatsoever....I was not lookin' pretty!  They were having a special event to market their "after hours" collection  and there was a model there with her husband who is apparently a famous NBA basketball player from the LA Clippers.  I guess I should've gotten a picture but I was more focused on getting some makeup on my fac

TRIA Hair Removal Laser

Ok...I'm just going to jump right into this.  Let's talk about hair.  I'm not talking about the hair on your head that you want people to see and love.  I'm talking about the unwanted hair that you loathe and want noone to see!  Embarrassing subject?  Yep!!  I have a medical condition called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) that has many, many side effects that makes it extremely difficult to get preggers but that's another subject we won't get into right now.  One of the most annoying effects being facial hair!!  There, I said it.  Since high school I've had to deal with this embarrassing situation.  Back then, I hated it and I would cry because I thought I was the only one dealing with this.  Now that I'm older (and wiser), I can laugh about it.  And the more I talk to people about it, the more I realize women everywhere are dealing with this "lady with the beard" issue.  I seriously could join a circus, people.  Ok, maybe it's not t
