Easter: Part II

This past weekend, the city of Edmond, Oklahoma held their 2nd Annual Hound Hunt.  We don't have kids (yet), so we HAD to take our fur-baby to this!

She really didn't know what the heck was going on, but it was still fun.



There were treats inside all of the eggs, so she kept sniffing them.

So proud of all of her eggs :)

    Hi Kari!! You just commented on my blog Creative Endeavors! :) I popped over to leave you a message, and found myself scrolling through - LOVE your furbaby!! I wish I'd known about this event, super cute!!! :) I live in Newcastle, but work in downtown OKC. There is a small group of us OKC scrappy friends, along with some others from Texas, getting together next weekend. We all met on scrapbook.com! :) You are more than welcome to join us - it's SO NICE to be able to have friends interested in the same things you are (scrapbooking, pets, etc)! :)

Loving Lately: Julep Maven and Dating Divas Costume Contest

I got my October Julep Maven Box in the mail this past weekend!  Woot! Woot!  I chose the "American Beauty" for this month for 2 reasons: 1. I think the orange crackle will be really fun and 2. Blue and Orange for OKC Thunder!!  It's almost that season again...can't wait!! A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
