Ornament Swap 2012

I love everything Christmas related and when I saw this ornament swap hosted by Dreaming of Dimples and Living in Yellow - I jumped right in!  I'm so glad I did because I got an amazingly fantabulous ornament from the lovely Rose Rambling.  She is seriously so sweet!  She said this ornament screamed "Kari" and she was EXACTLY right!!  


As if a cute ornament wasn't enough...she sent this sparkly zebra bag - love it!  I think this girl has known me forever...she definitely knows my taste!



And check out the ADORABLE ornament hook - I've never even seen anything like this!  I am on a mission to find more!!

H54F and Nail Files

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
