Nail Files

Painting my nails makes me happy - if I could do it every day, I would.  My husband tells me I have too many nail polishes.  I. Think. Not.  This week I used another color from my 4-pack of minis.  I've also tried this color out.  I really like the Sally Hansen brand of nail polish - it's probably my fave.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush: Lady Luck

It actually looks more purple-ish in the picture - but it's really more of a pink-ish red.

I changed my nail polish after a couple days to a more Christmas color.  I used the color I got in my Secret Santa Blog Swap.

The hubs and I are going on vacation this weekend to Branson, Missouri with his parents - I'm so excited - I've never been.  I've heard it's really cheesy but that's ok because I like cheesy :)  So if I'm MIA this weekend - that's why!!

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
