Happy Birthday to the Hubs!

The Hubs turns the big 3-1 today!!  It is so tempting to combine his birthday and Christmas present together but that just wouldn't be fair now would it?? 

His gift from Ally - she is patiently waiting for him to open it!

She got him a Batman calendar.  After all, he IS Batman!

He just loves me taking pictures of him...can't you tell?

Here is the Batman mug I made him at Be Wild for Art in Norman.  (More on that later)

I also got him a pressure washer (because he wanted one) but I forgot to take a picture of it.  You know you're getting old when you ask for a pressure washer...just sayin'!

(I seriously need to start using my actual camera instead of my iphone - the quality of most of the pictures on my blog are not so great!)

    My husband's birthday is three days after Christmas. He always got combined stuff when he was a kid. I try my hardest to make it a big deal. Looks like you did too! Great gifts!

    I actually got someone a Batman calendar as well. Hahaha. Gotta love those guys in our lives that love the Batman.

H54F and Nail Files

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
