Gabriella's Italian - Oklahoma City

You may remember a couple weeks ago, I talked about a to-die-for banana split that David and I shared.  It was at Gabriella's in Oklahoma City.  We love to try out local places in our city.  Gabriella's is a really quaint, Italian restaurant that has a very unique story to go along with the amazing food.  Instead of trying to word it in my own words, I figured nobody can tell it as good as they can, so check it out here.

For our appetizer, we ordered the Toasted Ravioli.  Now, my absolute favorite toasted ravioli is from Olive Garden.  It's hard to compete with my favorites when it comes to food.  This one did.  It is now my favorite.  Sorry Olive Garden.  I still love you.

And their salad....the best salad I've ever had.  Throw some croutons on there from Texas Roadhouse (that's the place that has the huge, homemade croutons, right?) and you have a match made in Heaven.

They even serve you a little bread and cheese platter...fancy, huh?  Because that's how we roll.  Pure fanciness.

David got...drumroll please...Chicken Fettucine Alfredo.  He ALWAYS gets this when we eat Italian.  He really needs to branch out to make a more lively and colorful picture, don't you agree?

I got Gabriella's Five Layer Lasagna - deliciousa!

And here it is...another drumroll please...

The Italian Banana Split.  This is the big daddy, the granddaddy of all banana splits.

And in case you need a closer look at all that goodness.

Yea, we felt absolutely disgusting after devouring the entire thing.  But, in all honesty, David had more than me.  And that's my story ;-)

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
