Liebster Award!!

So....back in November, a very important and exciting comment went into my spam.  I decided to take a look in my spam box today and found this from Andrea over at Andrea's Adventures!!

WHAT?!?!  Now that's an exciting suprise to find in your spam box :)  I feel so bad for not doing this back then...she probably thinks I'm such a slacker!!  So, today...I'm completing my Leibster Award tasks!!

Here are the 11 things about me:

1.  I have never been to New York...it is my dream vacation.
2. My middle name is Lynn....after my uncle.
3.  I grew up on a farm...complete with cows and a horse.  When I was little, I named my favorite cows after the characters on Popeye.  I had Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Swee'Pea.
4.  I made the move to the big city of Oklahoma City a couple years ago - after meeting my now husband.
5. I met my husband on mySpace.  I used to make fun of "those" people...now I'm one of them!  Read our engagement story here.
6. I like to eat ice cream with a fork...weird, I know. 
7.  It weirds me out to put my fork on a napkin and then reuse it.  Like if you eat dinner and are waiting on dessert.  I want a knew fork please!!
8.  I'm a little OCD...there is a place for everything and everything is in its place.
9. I work well under pressure.  I feel like that is the one thing I learned in college!  I used to write for our college paper and I seriously would wait until the night before deadline to get all of my interviews on paper!
10.  I have a SMALL obsession with shoes/flip flops!  I have a shoe closet and have about 65 pairs...most of them heels.  I'm trying to get better.  I've recently had the realization that I don't like 4" heels as much as I used to.  I prefer 3" ones now...must be getting older!
 11.  I am married to Batman.


Here are the answers to Andrea's questions:

1.  If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you pick? Why?
Probably Florida.  I would love to live where it is always warm and I could go to the beach anytime I wanted.  I would go to the beach and sip on a margarita with my Cosmo EVERY weekend!  I also choose Florida because if I ever got tired of the beach (can't imagine that happening), I'm sure there are MANY things to do there.  The only thing I wouldn't like would be hurricanes.

2. What three things would you never be able to live without?
This is so hard...I'm not sure if we're talking 3 THINGS, PEOPLE, or what!!  So, I'll just go with 3 things I must have every day.
Cell Phone - to keep in contact with everyone.
Mascara - so I don't look tired all of the time.
Zevia - I recently gave up Diet Dr. Pepper for this and it's pretty yummy!

3. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
Definitely my Grandma's and Mom's dressing.  My Grandma passed away 2 years ago on Christmas Day(She's our Christmas Angel) and now my mom makes it...it is delicious!

4. How did your parents choose your name?  Or how did you choose the name(s) of your child(ren)?
Honestly, I have no idea.  I think my Mom just wanted something different at the time.  Turns out, there was another Kari in my class from Kindergarten through 12th grade!

OKC THUNDER!!!

8. If you could take a vacation to any US city/state, which would you choose?  Why?
NYC!  I've always wanted to go here.  When I was little, it was my dream to live there.  But now that I'm older, I don't think I would want to actually live there...just visit!

9. What is your favorite current TV show?
Revenge and Walking Dead

10. Of all your birthdays so far, which has been the best?  What did you do?
