Tarte & Epiphanie

I've been wanting to do a post about these two products because I love them so much!  I got them both from the Hubs for Christmas.  He did good!  What girl doesn't want her stocking jam packed with makeup?!?!

Ok, so the first thing is the Tarte Cosmetics NeutralEyes Eyeshadow Palette - Volume II.  This is my go-to eyeshadow every morning.  Even if I am using other eyeshadows, I always come back to this one and use a few of the shimmery ones to blend everything in.  And I can't say enough about the packaging!  I thought it was a clutch at first.  It came with their emphasEYES Aqua-gel Eyeliner in Brown, which I am absolutely in love with.  It may be my favorite eyeliner right now.  A brush and primer were also included.  I'm not sure if this is still available in the stores since he got it at Christmas but I did find it online here.

See, I told you - looks like a clutch!

Notice: While getting this out to take a picture, I dropped it and the one on the top broke.  So. Very. Sad.

Aren't these pretty colors??  The top row is all matte and bottom is shimmery.  I love it because they all compliment each other and you pretty much can't go wrong.  My kind of eyeshadow.

My next favorite thing right now, is my Epiphanie Camera bag.  I searched and searched for a girly camera bag because I didn't want a plain black one.  I wanted the durability and functionality of those bags but I wanted it to match my style.  I found this website and I was like a kid in a candy store...candy website...whatever!

Isn't it just LOVELY?!?!  This picture does not even do the color justice!  And the little camera makes me smile every time I see it!  My favorite thing about this bag...it's lightweight.  It doesn't hurt my shoulders from carrying it around all day.

On the inside, there are all these compartments you can put several lenses in.  I use one for my wallet when I'm using this as a purse.  And yes, I do use this as a purse when I know I'm going to need my camera.

Here are two more of my favorites from their website.

These are a bit pricey but worth every penny!  Especially if your hubby buys it for you! :)

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
