Sweet Home Alabama!

Heading to Alabama today to see my sister, brother-in-law and nieces!!! I haven't seen them since Christmas ... that is a long time for us!

This picture was taken going over the Arkansas River. So pretty!

We aren't telling the girls - just showing up to surprise them! They are 6 and 3. I'm going to try and get it on video. Should be fun!! I'll try to post it later.

We are going to be near Huntsville, Alabama. For those that have been there or are from there, what are some must go to places that we need to try? I really want to make the drive to Memphis to try out Neely's BBQ!

Nail Files and a Giveaway

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses. It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!! It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!! Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress. I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress. I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress. (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!) So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.
