Mani-CareBox Swap - Reveal

Last month, I participated in this fun little swap hosted by the lovely Andrea @ Shabby Kitteh and Teryn @ Vintage Romance.  I was the lucky girl who got paired up with BOTH hosts!!  I sent to Teryn and Andrea sent to me!!  Check out what I got her here.

I love BOTH of their blogs...they don't know that I secretly stalk their blogs!  :)  I just never have time to comment as much as I'd like to.

I was a happy girl when this package came in the mail...just look at the envelope!!  Pink?  Zebra?  LOVE!!!

She definitely hooked. me. up.  This was a very fun package to open!  I loved ALL of the colors and I can't wait to use them!  I plan on using the red this week.

Purple Cosmetic Bag - A girl after my own heart!  I'm *kinda* addicted to cosmetic bags :)
China Glaze: Gothic Lolita - beautimous!  (yes, I just made that word up!)
Buffer - I was in desperate need of a new one.  Mine is falling apart.  I love this one because all the sides are numbered so you know in what order to use it.  I had one like this a long time ago...then I got a puppy who loved to chew on random things!

I can't say how much I LOVE these colors!!  They are perfect!  Ruby Kisses - I've never heard of this brand before but it's a new favorite!  I love finding new brands :)
Ruby Kisses: Ruby Slippers, Snow White, Black Eutopia (how fun are those names?!?!)

OMG - GLITTER!!  Intimidated?  Yes!  Can't wait to use?  Yes!  I haven't played with nail art in soooo long so I can't wait to try it out!

Thank you so much, Andrea!!  I love every single thing!  I can't wait to see what everyone else got :)

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
