Just Add Color Fall Swap Reveal!!

Let me first begin by saying I LOVE swaps!!  I think I say that every time I do a swap reveal post.  I'm so glad I joined the 2nd Annual Just Add Color Fall Swap hosted by the super sweet, Jessica over at You Are My Color.

I was paired with the ridiculously awesome, Mishi (short for Michelle).  She is super sweet and has an amazing blog!  We actually have a lot in common...same age, married, our dogs are our children until we have our own kiddos, which isn't an easy task for either of us...oh the joys of TTC!  She blogs about all of this over at her blog and that is one of the many reasons I love blogging...you get to "meet" other amazing women going through some of the real life issues as you are! :)

Now, on to the goods!  She seriously hooked. me. up.  It was like eye-candy when I opened up my package!  I really need to start making all of swap packages look like this!  I didn't even know where to start....so much funness in one box!

See what I mean?!?!

I had this Revlon "Valentine" polish in my hand last time I went to Ulta and ended up sitting it down because I told myself I will not buy myself anymore nail polish - I will save it all for swaps!  And she got it for me!!!

I wore this scarf yesterday and got so many compliments on it!  (I had to do a goofy face - don't hate!)  I didn't have one this color and it matches a pair of shoes I have perfectly!!  The lotion and anti-bac smell amazing!  I also wore this lip gloss yesterday!  See what I got her here.

Thank you SO MUCH, Michelle!!  So glad we met through the swap!

Nail Files and a Giveaway

Today I'm linking up with Tara and Vicki  for their fabulous linkup party, The Nail Files. Essie : Turquoise and Caicos Julep : Ivy Annnnd...I'm doing something a little special for my readers today - a nail polish giveaway!!  I am admittedly copying Christina over at Easily Entertained .  :) She recently did a nail polish giveaway (that I missed out on..boo) and I thought what a GREAT way to get rid of some of my overflowing collection of polishes!!! You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. All of these polishes are slightly used (maybe 2 or 3 times) except for the CHI brand and the green Ulta one - those have never been used.  The glitter pots and the lipgloss are also brand spankin' new. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Loving Lately: My Discovery of MAC Cosmetics

I am 29 years young and I have JUST discovered MAC.  Yes, it's true.  I have apparently been living under a rock.  In a bubble.  Something!!  I ran out of foundation this weekend and decided to give it a try.  And O.M.G. I am so glad I did.  Ok - here are my face issues... 1. Oily Eyelids - eyeshadow creases within an hour...not fun. 2. Oily Face - makeup disappears and the shine is outta control...not fun either!! 3. Acne Scars - the dark spot kind...ugh!  4. Acne - why do I have acne at 29???  It just isn't fair to have to use acne treatment AND an anti-aging cream!!  I went to the MAC counter with absolutely no makeup on whatsoever....I was not lookin' pretty!  They were having a special event to market their "after hours" collection  and there was a model there with her husband who is apparently a famous NBA basketball player from the LA Clippers.  I guess I should've gotten a picture but I was more focused on getting some makeup on my fac

TRIA Hair Removal Laser

Ok...I'm just going to jump right into this.  Let's talk about hair.  I'm not talking about the hair on your head that you want people to see and love.  I'm talking about the unwanted hair that you loathe and want noone to see!  Embarrassing subject?  Yep!!  I have a medical condition called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) that has many, many side effects that makes it extremely difficult to get preggers but that's another subject we won't get into right now.  One of the most annoying effects being facial hair!!  There, I said it.  Since high school I've had to deal with this embarrassing situation.  Back then, I hated it and I would cry because I thought I was the only one dealing with this.  Now that I'm older (and wiser), I can laugh about it.  And the more I talk to people about it, the more I realize women everywhere are dealing with this "lady with the beard" issue.  I seriously could join a circus, people.  Ok, maybe it's not t
