Jana , Holly , and Melonie hosted this fun swap to get ready for the fall and winter season and I am so glad I joined in on the fun!  I was paired with the sweet Jen from A Freckle on the Nose .  She was an awesome partner and really spoiled me! She included this note with a list of hints for all the things she got me..what a good idea! See...I told you she spoiled me! She made these adorable decorations - love them! And these magnets were perfect for hanging some art from my nieces on my fridge And how cute are these?!?!  I am ashamed to admit how long this candy actually lasted...but hey, it's Halloween, right?? I usually make all my cards but I've been telling myself I need to buy some cute ones to use for my swaps...these are perfect Can't go through fall without new makeup - I love all the colors she picked out for me! And last but not least - Mulling Spices.  I've never used these before and I'm so excite...

(pic of self - taken by self - so I could have a pic for this post) A friend of mine recently asked me why I blogged.  It got me to thinking about why I actually do.  I mean, who REALLY wants to know about what I have to say?!?!  Surprisingly, people do!  :)  I am so thankful for every amazing person that follows my blog - I never would've thought I would have almost 70 followers!  After thinking back to when I first started blogging, I remembered finding this blog while searching for living room decorations one day on the internet - Kevin and Amanda .  Have you ever seen this blog....aMaZiNg!  I totally want to be her for a day!  Moving on ... I remember thinking to myself "What is a blog and how can I get one?"  I love to scrapbook and be crafty and I also love layout and design - it would be a PERFECT mix of everything!  Plus, my dream in college was to graduate, move to NYC, and be a graphic designer for the ma...

A co-worker recently shared this amazingly EASY recipe with me and I decided to test it out this weekend.  The word "easy" doesn't even begin to do this recipe justice.  It's effortless, painless, uncomplicated...you get the idea!  (btw, I just inserted the word easy into Word for laughs and those are the words I came up with...I thought they were more dramatic) What You Need: Roast - I used a chuck roast that I got from my dad (he owns cattle so I'm kinda spoiled with my meat!) That kinda sounded dirty...get your minds out of the gutter and back to the kitchen! 1 Can of Root Beer (I used diet) 1 Bottle of BBQ What You Do: 1.  Place roast in crock pot and pour can of root beer on top.  Note - it will not cover the roast. 2.  Cook on low for about 8-10 hours until roast falls apart. 3.  Drain and shred. 4.  Pour BBQ on top and stir to fully coat meat with sauce. Let me first begin by saying I LOVE swaps!!  I think I say that every time I do a swap reveal post.  I'm so glad I joined the 2nd Annual Just Add Color Fall Swap hosted by the super sweet, Jessica over at You Are My Color .
