Pink Lemonade Birthday Party

For the girls first birthday, we went ALL out!  My inspiration for the theme was these Pink Lemonade decorations I found at Hobby Lobby.  Let me be honest and say I found these decorations back in January...their birthday is in July...so I planned this bash for 6 months.  I don't even think I planned our wedding that far in advance!  On second thought, I probably did.  I LOVE planning parties!  I just love this saying and it's perfectly fitting for the girls.  When we found out we were having twins , we didn't know what the heck we were going to do.  We were scared...very scared!  But now, I can't imagine it any other way.  They're our little lemons!    My DH made this adorable lemonade stand.  He did such a great job - I love it!  I kept it because one day when the girls are older, they can use it as an actual lemonade stand.  We just used 2 wooden crates you can find at any craft store or even Walmart, some lumber we got at Lowe's, paint, stain,

Halloween Gift Ideas for Teachers

A couple years ago, I made these cute little Halloween treats for my co-workers.  Times have changed now that we have twin 15-month old girls ...basically we have no time for anything besides them.  I'm totally ok with that so I'm not complaining!  This year, I decided to make their daycare teachers some cute gifts using free printables from two amazing blogs.  I had about 10 minutes of free time while the girls were playing one evening so I was glad these didn't take long! First, I made a jar of "Bugs and Kisses" - here's the printable for them.  So cute!!  All you need is 2 jars, ribbon, Hershey Kisses, and plastic spiders.  And of course, the cute Bugs and Kisses printable.  I may or may not have snuck in a kiss or two...or five.  Then I made these fun "Germs Are Scary" gifts.  I love how they turned out - and so easy!  You can find the printable on eighteen25.com  and it's also FREE!   These would make perfect gifts for teache

Very important stuff

I am so excited that I have time for a blog post - I know you've been anxiously awaiting for more! haha   As I was logging in to my blogger account, I realized something...I have absolutely nothing to blog about.  My life of fun recipes, craft projects, product reviews, restaurant visits, and just plain exciting, can't-even-stand-it stuff I used to blog about, is no longer existent.  My life revolves around these beautiful, smart, and amazing little girls.  Oh and of course my husband  and our dog :)  Those two links really go to show I haven't blogged in umpteen years.  I've never typed that word - umpteen.  I think it should be left for saying and not typing - it looks weird.   I've questioned whether or not to post pictures of the girls on here but then I decided it's really no different than Facebook and Lord knows I annoyingly fill my friends' newsfeeds with adorable twin moments.  Sorry guys!  Ok - I'm not really that sorry.  So because I hav

35 Before 35

Well hello there, it's only been 392 days since I've last blogged .  I've been a little busy with my ALMOST one year old twins.  Where has the time gone?!?!  I'm still debating on putting their pictures on my blog because there truly are so many crazies out there - no offense!  We shall see.  Any who, today is my birthday!!  I thought no better day than to do my 35 Before 35 Bucket List.  I did a 30 Before 30 List a couple years ago and it went pretty well.  So, here we go!  The first couple are being carried over from that list - better late than never. 1.    Go Camping .  This will be a little harder with the girls.  Maybe we'll just stick with the backyard. 2.    Volunteer at an animal shelter .  This is going to be so hard but I really want to do this.  I may have a backyard full of dogs when I'm done.  But they can keep us company while we camp! 3.   Complete our Insanity workout program again - OR Chalean Extreme .  I can't tell you how man
