Ornament Swap 2012

I love everything Christmas related and when I saw this ornament swap hosted by Dreaming of Dimples and Living in Yellow - I jumped right in!  I'm so glad I did because I got an amazingly fantabulous ornament from the lovely Rose Rambling.  She is seriously so sweet!  She said this ornament screamed "Kari" and she was EXACTLY right!!  


As if a cute ornament wasn't enough...she sent this sparkly zebra bag - love it!  I think this girl has known me forever...she definitely knows my taste!



And check out the ADORABLE ornament hook - I've never even seen anything like this!  I am on a mission to find more!!

Loving Lately: Julep Maven and Dating Divas Costume Contest

I got my October Julep Maven Box in the mail this past weekend!  Woot! Woot!  I chose the "American Beauty" for this month for 2 reasons: 1. I think the orange crackle will be really fun and 2. Blue and Orange for OKC Thunder!!  It's almost that season again...can't wait!! I love opening up my Julep box - it's like Christmas :) Such cute packaging Quick Dry Polish Drops - I seriously can not wait to use these!  I'm so impatient when it comes to waiting for nail polish to dry!  Love these little glitter pots - but let's be honest - I'm a little intimidated by them!  I can already see the mess I am going to make with these! TRIA Hair Removal Laser

Ok...I'm just going to jump right into this.  Let's talk about hair.  I'm not talking about the hair on your head that you want people to see and love.  I'm talking about the unwanted hair that you loathe and want noone to see!  Embarrassing subject?  Yep!!  I have a medical condition called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) that has many, many side effects that makes it extremely difficult to get preggers but that's another subject we won't get into right now.  One of the most annoying effects being facial hair!!  There, I said it.  Since high school I've had to deal with this embarrassing situation.  Back then, I hated it and I would cry because I thought I was the only one dealing with this.  Now that I'm older (and wiser), I can laugh about it.  And the more I talk to people about it, the more I realize women everywhere are dealing with this "lady with the beard" issue.  I seriously could join a circus, people....
