Soda Pop, Anyone?

Last weekend, David and I decided to visit POPS, a world famous gas station/restaurant on Route 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. We've been meaning to go there since I had heard about it at work. But for some reason, we just didn't want to take the long drive. Ummm..it only took us 20 minutes! Who knew we were so close??

POPS lines their windows with all the colorful sodas. There are over 500 kinds of sodas!! And you can mix ANY flavor with their delicious ice cream to create your own custom float!

Flavored popcorn? Yes please!!

We were both really...really bad! But it was oh so worth it!

David, however was worse because he had chili cheese fries. I only had 2 bites so they don't count :)

And this didn't count either - AMAZING bread pudding a la mode...yumm!!

So many decisions...

At night, this 66 ft bottle covered in LED lights turns into a light show

And we just couldn't leave without some goodies!

And of course, we couldn't leave without a magnet to add to our collection :)

This place was definitely worth the 20 minute drive! Flatire Burgers on Urbanspoon

You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. All of these polishes are slightly used (maybe 2 or 3 times) except for the CHI brand and the green Ulta one - those have never been used.  The glitter pots and the lipgloss are also brand spankin' new. a Rafflecopter giveaway

A Batman Wedding and a $9 Wedding Dress

I was on this blog today and she was talking about how women spend so much money on wedding dresses.  It reminded me of my wedding and then I realized I've never blogged about it!!!  It's already been a year and half and I still haven't even scrapbooked it!!!  Where does the time go? Ok...to the dress.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted it to be short, satin, and a "pick-up" style dress.  I looked around at David's Bridal and other stores but I just couldn't see spending more than $100 on my dress.  (I've been married before and had the big, fancy wedding - and we see how well that worked out!!)  So this time, I wanted a small wedding and didn't want to spend much.  I walked into Ross one day looking for something else and decided to walk through the dresses to look for a dress for my sis, the MOH.  It was like the clouds opened up and the angels were singing and the sun beamed down on this dress.  You can't really tell fr...
