Today is reveal day for the Secret Santa Swap!!!  This is my 2nd year to do this swap and it's always so much fun!

Here's my box of goodies!!

3. Glittery Reindeer Ornament - so sparkly!

5. Snowman Spatula - very cute!
6. Avon Skin So Soft Lotion - perfect for my super dry winter skin.
7. A Knitted Drink Cozy - at first I didn't know what this was.  My husband was for sure it was a bracelet.
8. A Glittery Cupcake Candle - too cute to burn! :) My husband thought this was a real cupcake and was very excited about it until I said it was a candle.
9. Black and Pink Slippers - I've literally worn them every night since I got them!
10. Some Assorted Tea Bags - can't wait to try these.
11.  A Rawhide for Ally - I was so excited when I saw she got something for Ally.  How thoughtful!! I was going to take a pic of Ally enjoying it but by the time I remembered, she already had it half gone and it wasn't very picture pretty with all the slobber!!

She seriously spoiled me!!  Thank you so much Ashley....I love it all!!!

I was the Secret Santa for Ricci over at Ricci Explains It All.  I think I totally gave it away when I sent her Posh samples!!  Oops :)

This was so much fun...can't wait to do it next year!

And for my BIG REVEAL....

Some of you may know we have been trying for quite some time so we are so excited about this.  And even though we've been planning/trying for over a year, it still came as a shock.  We stared at the positive tests, David told me to take another and then another and then another.  After 5 positives, we were pretty sure.  But not certain!  lol  After blood work, I am convinced.  David, on the other hand, wants to see it before he believes it.  hahahaha

We aren't sure how Ally is going to like sharing all of the attention.  But I think she will be an awesome big sister!   :)

TeaLicious - Moore, Oklahoma

When my cousin told me about this tea room restaurant in Moore, Oklahoma called TeaLicious, I couldn't wait to try it.  I love places like this.  I hope to one day own one.  A girl's gotta dream, right?

I reserved a "tea party" table for some good friends and we had so much fun.  One of our friends didn't show we ate her sandwiches.  We were good and held back from eating her dessert though.

This was such a cute place.  Girly decor everywhere...LOVE!

And these cupcakes...almost too cute to eat.  Almost!

(Nobody ever spells my name right)

Our table was decorated so lovely.

This tea was very yummy...Strawberry Mango I believe.

I'm not a big "fancy" sandwich eater, but these were actually quite tasty.  My favorite....cucumber and cream cheese.

And my favorite part...dessert.  The strawberry shortcake was absolutely amazing!!

Love these girls!!

And then we stopped at the local $1 jewelry store...yes we were "those" people.  Don't judge.

What a fun day!  I will definitely be going back to TeaLicious! for my plug...

Product Review: OK in a Box

Disclaimer: I received a free, complimentary box valued at $29 to complete this review.  All words and opinions are of my own.

What if I told you that you could get the best of Oklahoma made products sent right to your mailbox every month?  You'd be overly excited, right?  I thought so!!

A while ago, I was lucky enough to be contacted by a new company, OK in a Box, to do a review of one of their boxes.  I had never heard of this company but I thought, "What a great idea!"  I have lived in Oklahoma my entire life and have yet to hear about so many of the great, locally made products.  So to box up these products and ship them monthly to your doorstep - this company is on to something!!

On to the good stuff....

Daddy Hinkle's Instant Meat Marinade: Onion and Garlic - Cleveland, Oklahoma
I can't wait to try this.  It is a 2-part marinade - wet and dry.  Basically, you soak the meat with the wet and then rub it with the dry.  Yummy!  Check their website out here.

Valley View Pecan Company: Cinnamon Sugar Pecans - Shawnee, Oklahoma
Absolutely. Amazing.  Need I say more?  Yes - I want another bag.  Find them here

Maria Rae's Gourmet Foods: Spunky Spuds and Holey Guacamole - Enid, Oklahoma
I love seasoning packets so when I found these in my box of goodies, I was quite excited!  These will be perfect for all those holiday parties.  Or maybe I'll just keep them to myself :)  Check out their website here.

Southern Okie: Gourmet Apple Spread - Edmond, Oklahoma
OMG - I could seriously eat this by the spoonful.  I may or may not have done just that.  Don't judge. I put this on some wheat bread and my husband and I had ourselves a delicious snack.  I will definitely be purchasing the pumpkin spread for Thanksgiving!

Want your own box?  Want $10 off your first order?  I can see you shaking your heads yes now.  Click here to get your very own OK in a Box and $10 will be deducted at checkout!

Gettin' My Flava On

As many of you probably already know, I'm addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper.  I've blogged about this problem many times.  Here, here, here, and here.  I can't even count how many times I've "quit" ddp.  Way too many times.  They are like my cigarette, my drug of choice, my nemesis, my guilty pleasure.    I know how bad they are for me...I even had a patient tell me how bad they are and that I need to quit drinking them...but there are other "bad" things including the sun, too much television, plastic bottles, styrofoam, standing too close to the microwave, etc.  So, to quit ddp...I say bump that.  I will probably never give it up completely.  It just ain't gonna happen.  And to say that I will quit is being unrealistic and I'm setting myself up for failure.  Especially on Mondays like today when I just can't wake up and snap out of it.  I guess I could start drinking coffee.

So instead of giving it up cold turkey and turning into a grumpy biotch, I'm just going to "cut back" and drink lots of water.  Problem with that is...I don't really like water.  Give me some FLAVOR!!  Enter water enhancers.  I've recently discovered these wonderful little miracles.  Thanks Ta'Selia for letting me try yours :)  I buy the ones without aspartame in them.  They are pretty damn tasty!!

Here are a few of my favorites...

Great Value Simply Clear: Strawberry Watermelon
Crystal Light Liquid: Blueberry Raspberry
MioEnergy: Green Thunder

Now, I am clearly addicted to these.  Probably in 5 years, these will bad for some ridiculous reason.  Sigh.

Dr. Scholl's Active Series Review

Disclaimer: As part of the Influenster Program, I received one, complimentary pair of Dr. Scholl's Active Series insoles.  All words and opinions are my own.

You can imagine my excitement when I received this fun little package in the mail!  I love getting my Influenster boxes...I can't wait to dig in and see what product I'm about to review.  Want to be part of Influenster?  Comment below with your email address and I'll randomly choose a few to send an invite to.  I would love to choose all of you but I only get 5 :)

Moving my Influenster box this month, I received a pair of Dr. Scholl's Active Series.  I have to say, I have never purchased insoles before.  I never knew what the point was.  I mean, insoles already come in my shoes!!!  Right??  Wrong!  Well, they do - BUT - they ain't got nothin' on these little beauties (if insoles can be beauties).

They are so comfortable.  Like, walking on cushions comfortable!  I am a pronator.  I roll towards the inside of my foot when I walk.  These insoles don't claim to help that, but I feel like they helped a little bit.  They also helped support my arch.

And they were super easy to use.  All you do is take out your old, and in my case - dirty, (don't judge - I don't wear socks when I wear these shoes because they are mesh and breathable.  And that's my story) insole and trace the size of it onto the new one.  Then cut along the traced line and there you have it - your new, bright, and shiny insole.

Aren't they pretty?  I never realized how worn out insoles can get.  You know that cushion(y) feel of brand new shoes?  I have it again!

What fun products have you tried lately?

Xyng: Product Review

Disclaimer: I received one 30-day supply of Xyng for free to review for this blog post.  All words and opinions are of my own.

This post is way overdue!  A while ago, a friend of mine (and Alpha Phi sister!) that I haven't seen since college (where does the time go?) approached me with the opportunity to review this new product.  An all-natural weight loss supplement?  Ok - I'm in!  I am very careful with what type of weight loss products I take.  With so many dangerous products out there that cause heart palpitations and the like, I was a little nervous.  It seems like every product I've taken makes my heart feel like it's about to beat out of my chest.  Not good.  This one was different.  It didn't make me feel any different in any negative way.  No dizziness, no crazy heart issues, nothing.  I did notice more energy.  I didn't have my 3 in the afternoon can't hold my eyes open events.  It was a great feeling.

I didn't take it as consistent as I should have, but I think that actually helped me realize the difference it made.  On the days I didn't take it, I came home every night and snacked on everything.  Salty, sweet.  Salty, sweet.  You know what I'm talking about.  Vicious, vicious cycle.  But on the days I did take it, it truly curbed my cravings.  I would go home, eat a healthy dinner, and not feel like I NEEDED dessert.

From their website:
"This product is a blend of all-natural ingredients designed to help you achieve your weight loss goals and feel incredible while you do it.
XYNG™ is a powerful blend of herbal ingredients, vitamins and minerals that help control your appetite, increase your energy, and create a euphoric feeling of excitement and positive mental energy!
Many people feel listless, tired, and stressed out, with not enough time each day to complete what needs to be done let alone time to prepare the nutritious meals that a healthy diet requires. Worse yet, they just grab fast food as a quick solution. XYNG solves all of these problems.
XYNG increases your energy and helps you stay more alert and active. Lack of energy is one of the major reasons we don’t exercise enough. The basics of losing weight and maintaining a healthy weight is to not only eat less, but also move more. XYNG provides the added boost to get you through your day with enough energy left to do the extras, such as exercise. It’s this natural balance that make us feel our best.
And the natural energy lifts your mood so that, even if you diet, you feel amazing! XYNG: the all-natural solution to add vitality and FUEL FOR LIFE!"

They have many, many other products that I am interested in trying (after we are done TTC).  Go check out her website, do some shopping, and start losing weight.
