So many people are asking what they can do to help in the Moore, Oklahoma tragedy .  Right now, there isn't much that can be done because they want people to stay away so they can continue their search efforts.  One thing you can do though, is donate.  You can text REDCROSS to 90999.  It automatically adds 10$ to your phone bill.  I know it doesn't seem like much but imagine if everyone did this...it adds up fast!  I know the Red Cross was on the scene right after the tornado struck passing out water and other necessities so every little bit helps. Please continue to pray for those that lost their homes and/or loved ones.  This serves as a reminder to all of us that we can't wait till the last minute to take shelter.  We have to listen to the meteoroligsts and be prepared.  I know that they [the weather channel] sometimes like to "hype" it up, but it really makes me sad to have heard people make comments such as "Noth...

I'm sure it's all over the national news by now. About 45 minutes from my home, a tornado caused much devastation in and around Moore, Oklahoma. I was at home and watched the news the entire time. What a helpless feeling to just watch it cause the damage. I believe it was a mile wide and was on the ground at least 20 minutes. I have never seen anything like it. Oklahoma was also hit yesterday by a tornado (which was directly over our house in its beginning stages). Please keep everyone affected by these storms in your prayers.

After checking out Bad Granny's Bazaar in the Plaza District in Oklahoma City, we decided to stop in this adorable boutique.  The Ruff Life  is a lingerie and vintage boutique that has some pretty amazing stuff.  I could browse for hours.  Well, maybe not hours but I wanted to make sure I saw everything! Sexy little things everywhere!  blush is one of the lingerie brands they sell...LOVE. What better to go with lingerie than amazing jewelry?!?! Fancy gloves...yes, please! I fell in love with this dress.  It makes me want to throw on some cowboy boots and walk through a wheat field with a horse.  Cue country music. And they even offer free wine!!  Now THAT is service! I'm gonna pop some tags...only got twenty dollars in my pocket.  Now that I have that song stuck in your head, let's move on.  I promise, the song really does relate to this post.  :) Two of my cousins, two aunts, my mom and I go to dinner one night a month.  We always choose a place none of us have ever been to.  We like to try new places to keep it interesting.  This past weekend, we went to The Mule in Oklahoma City.  I will be doing a post on that later this week.  When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised the restaurant was located in Plaza District OKC .  I had been wanting to check this area of town out but just hadn't made it yet.  There are all kinds of local shoppes and eateries, which I love quaint, local places.  If anything, just go here to people watch!
