High Five for Friday

Linking up with Lauren from My Grey Desk Blog :)
  Photobucket

This is my first H54F and I'm really excited about it.  It is a weekly link up to showcase some of the most favorite parts of our weeks!  How fun is that??

1.  I had my first cup of coffee this past weekend.  I only drink coffee in the fall/winter so I've been waiting patiently.  This White Chocolate Caramel Latte was yummy!!!

2. I bought this new cereal to keep at my desk at work for a healthy snack.  I love kid cereal (cocoa pebbles, cocoa puffs, etc) but this is a grown up version :)  It's time to be an adult...at least in the cereal department!

3.  Monday was our 1 year anniversary!  Read our engagement story here.  No, I have not blogged about our wedding at all...or scrapbooked it ... shame on me!  I kept telling myself I would do it before our anniversary got it...yea that didn't happen!!

4. I recovered my planner this week.  I bought this Martha Stewart blue planner and totally copied this and I love it...BUT it was getting dirty and I needed to add some color to it!  I came home one night and added a little scrapbook paper and Mod Podge.  I'm happy with the way it turned out...I just need to learn the trick for preventing bubbles while working with Mod Podge..any tips??

5.  LOOK at this CUTE pumpkin my mother-in-law got us!!!  They came and visited last weekend and surprised us with it!  She definitely knows my taste...I love it!!

  3. I've been seeing commercials every darn day for that cereal and it looks so good. Is it actually? But how the heck is it healthy? It looks like a dumbed down version of Puppy Chow. and that certainly is NOT healthy.

  6. I'm an anti coffee drinker all 12 months of the year. It smells so good though!

I have yet to try a sample of Krave yet but it sounds yummy! I'm slightly addicted to chocolate....and a few other things.

    Cute wedding pic!!

I know nothing about crafting. I can barely use glue as it is!

That is an adorable pumpkin! I need to start gathering my fall decorations. The temps outside don't feel like fall yet but I'm ready to start decorating for it!

Sending bloggy love from your new oklahoma friend~

  8. You did an awesome job covering your planner- mine is in the process of falling apart right now. I most definitely need to invest in an Erin Condren planner!

Nail Files and a Giveaway

Today I'm linking up with Tara and Vicki  for their fabulous linkup party, The Nail Files. Essie : Turquoise and Caicos Julep : Ivy Annnnd...I'm doing something a little special for my readers today - a nail polish giveaway!!  I am admittedly copying Christina over at Easily Entertained .  :) She recently did a nail polish giveaway (that I missed out on..boo) and I thought what a GREAT way to get rid of some of my overflowing collection of polishes!!! You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. All of these polishes are slightly used (maybe 2 or 3 times) except for the CHI brand and the green Ulta one - those have never been used.  The glitter pots and the lipgloss are also brand spankin' new. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Loving Lately: My Discovery of MAC Cosmetics

I am 29 years young and I have JUST discovered MAC.  Yes, it's true.  I have apparently been living under a rock.  In a bubble.  Something!!  I ran out of foundation this weekend and decided to give it a try.  And O.M.G. I am so glad I did.  Ok - here are my face issues... 1. Oily Eyelids - eyeshadow creases within an hour...not fun. 2. Oily Face - makeup disappears and the shine is outta control...not fun either!! 3. Acne Scars - the dark spot kind...ugh!  4. Acne - why do I have acne at 29???  It just isn't fair to have to use acne treatment AND an anti-aging cream!!  I went to the MAC counter with absolutely no makeup on whatsoever....I was not lookin' pretty!  They were having a special event to market their "after hours" collection  and there was a model there with her husband who is apparently a famous NBA basketball player from the LA Clippers.  I guess I should've gotten a picture but I was more focused on getting some makeup on my fac

TRIA Hair Removal Laser

Ok...I'm just going to jump right into this.  Let's talk about hair.  I'm not talking about the hair on your head that you want people to see and love.  I'm talking about the unwanted hair that you loathe and want noone to see!  Embarrassing subject?  Yep!!  I have a medical condition called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) that has many, many side effects that makes it extremely difficult to get preggers but that's another subject we won't get into right now.  One of the most annoying effects being facial hair!!  There, I said it.  Since high school I've had to deal with this embarrassing situation.  Back then, I hated it and I would cry because I thought I was the only one dealing with this.  Now that I'm older (and wiser), I can laugh about it.  And the more I talk to people about it, the more I realize women everywhere are dealing with this "lady with the beard" issue.  I seriously could join a circus, people.  Ok, maybe it's not t
