1. These came in the mail for me this week and I am in love with them.  I don't know how I lived without them.  The OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer - it splits, pits, and slices!  And the  MSC Joie Avocado Saver  hold the leftover half and prevents it from turning brown.  It actually works!  2.  Ally was laying on the floor in the kitchen staring in the corner of the cabinet.  I was wondering what the heck she was looking at.  This little tree frog somehow snuck in our house.  So cute! 3. Fresh fruit was this week's goal in the 42 Days to Fit Challenge.   Last week, I gave up soda .  Not as hard as I would have thought. 4.  Almost every morning I get to work, I have to stop to let families of geese get by.  The babies are just so dang cute and fuzzy. 5.  My first article, a review on Pinkitzel , was published in a local magazine!  So excited!  Linking up with Lauren for High Five for Friday !

Gabriella's Italian - Oklahoma City

You may remember a couple weeks ago , I talked about a to-die-for banana split that David and I shared.  It was at Gabriella's in Oklahoma City.  We love to try out local places  in our city.  Gabriella's is a really quaint, Italian restaurant that has a very unique story to go along with the amazing food.  Instead of trying to word it in my own words, I figured nobody can tell it as good as they can, so check it out here . For our appetizer, we ordered the Toasted Ravioli .  Now, my absolute favorite toasted ravioli is from Olive Garden.  It's hard to compete with my favorites when it comes to food.  This one did.  It is now my favorite.  Sorry Olive Garden.  I still love you. And their salad....the best salad I've ever had.  Throw some croutons on there from Texas Roadhouse (that's the place that has the huge, homemade croutons, right?) and you have a match made in Heaven. They even serve you a little bread and cheese platter..

Leopard and Green

I have recently discovered my love of leopard.  Ok, I'm lying.  I have always been a little obsessed with anything leopard print.  Our master bedroom and bathroom have leopard accents (thanks to the hubby for letting me add leopard), my robe is leopard, my favorite bra is leopard, my office has leopard, my Snuggie is leopard.  You get the idea.  So last week, I paired it with green and now I love it even more. Necklace: JCP / Bracelet: GroopDealz / Watch: Betsey Johnson / Bag: Jessica Simpson / Shoes: JCP Let's discuss two things now.  First, the green bracelet.  You may remember me talking about everything pink  and mint .  I get the most fabulous jewelry from GroopDealz .  Check it out.  Moving on... Second, that BAG!!  True story... About 6 or so months ago, I was in Staples (or Office Depot - I always get them confused) and I saw this amazing Jessica Simpson Leopard Tote lined in PINK!  It would be perfect for my books/magazines/planner/bagofthingsIneed that

NINE Days - NO Soda

I have been following the 42 Days To Fit Challenge and surprisingly, it hasn't been THAT hard.  I have completely given up my Diet Dr. Pepper addiction..for nine days!!  If you know me, you know that I am addicted to it...like at least 3 a day addicted.  It was BAD!  I have only been drinking water and tea.  I have to drink tea to prevent the caffeine headaches.  This challenge has really motivated me and I am sticking to it.  I've been trying out new recipes like homemade blueberry muffins and these amazing and EASY 2 ingredient homemade biscuits.  I cooked up some turkey sausage and have been eating sausage biscuits for breakfast every morning.  Easy peasy!  And much cheaper than McD's! Want to take this challenge with me?  You can purchase the eBook here .  I'm on week 2 and am really excited about it!

H54F and Nail Files

Linking up with Tara for The Nail Files  and Lauren at for High Five for Friday First, a reminder to enter my nail polish giveaway here .  Only 12 hours left! 1. We went to Gabriella's and had this "magic, no calories" banana split.  Nothing short of amazing!  More on that restaurant later. 2. I have decided on these flowers for my flower garden.  They are called Lantana flowers.  I love them!  I can't wait to get them planted! 3. I got my Josie Maran Self-Tanning Body Wash in!!  I have to say - I friggin' love this stuff!  It's a body wash...that tans you.  So you can use it in the shower and wash it off after 30 seconds.  This is great because you don't have that yucky smell.  It comes with a long-handled loofah so you can get your back instead of having your husband, your friend, or neighbor doing it.  That's just awkward.  You can order yours from QVC here .  Just search "Josie Maran Body Wash".  I am also lo

Box of Sunshine and Neighbor Baskets

I love putting together gift baskets for people - so when I get the chance, I jump on it.  For instance, one of my friends celebrated her birthday a couple weeks ago and she's been going through some not so happy times so what better than a Sunshine Box???  I saw this idea on Pinterest (wish I could take full credit for the idea) and knew I wanted to make her one.  Basically, you just buy everything in yellow.  Easy?  Yes! Here's what I included in her box: Yellow Gatorade - I don't know the flavor because we all choose our Gatorade by the color and not the flavor right?? Yellow Nail Polish Bottle of Bubbles Yellow Kleenex Pack Lemonheads Butterfinger Lays Yellow Dish Soap Juicy Fruit Yellow Sticky Note Pad Yellow Loofah Yellow Cat Dog Toy - I couldn't find a yellow dog toy so I improvised with a cat toy.  Her dog is small and he'll never know the difference. I also got her a yellow sign at Hobby Lobby but you could definitely

The Mule and Roxy's Ice Cream - Oklahoma City

While we (my mom, aunt, cousin, and I) were down in Plaza District OKC last week, we visited The Ruff Life Lingerie Store,  Bad Granny's Bazaar Thrift Shop and then ate at The Mule .  I had heard all about their Grilled Cheese with Macaroni and Cheese inside of it so of course, that's what I ordered!  Much like the burger I had at Flatire Burgers  that also had mac & cheese inside.  I'm pretty sure you could throw m&c on anything and I would eat it.  Well, maybe not anything. And there it is....the Macaroni Pony : Jalepeno Cornbread, Chipotle BBQ Pulled Pork, 3 Cheese Mac and Cheese, and a Pickle.  Is your mouth watering yet?? They also have a Big Ass Grilled Cheese (love the name).  It didn't really matter who ordered what because we all got sandwiches and split them four ways.  I love going to a place that has a selection of "different" beers. Please. We ordered the Okie Poutine appetizer - Beer Battered French Fries
