All About Me A ~ Z

Stealing this idea from Alexandra from Everything Under the Sun!  I think it's a great way for my followers to learn some random facts about me :)

A) Age: 29

B) Bed size: King.

C) Chore you hate: Putting folded clothes up.  HATE this!!  I don't mind sorting, washing, drying, and folding...but putting them up?  I'd rather just have piles of folded clothes on top of the dresser instead of putting them in the drawer!

D) Dogs: Ally

 E) Essential start to your day: Apple Juice.  Weird I know - but it used to be Diet Dr. Pepper and I'm trying to give that up.  Plus, I just recently tried apple juice for the first time and I really like it.  Who knew??

F) Favorite color: Turquoise ... right now.  It changes often.

G) Gold or Silver: Loving gold right now.

H) Height: 5'3"

I) Instruments you play: None.  I even suck at Rock Band.

J) Job Title: Medical Staff Specialist

K) Kids: Not yet...hopefully soon!

L) Live: Oklahoma

M) Married: Yes, to Batman

N) Nicknames: I don't really have one...nicknames are weird to me!  I don't even call my friends by their nickname.  People used to call me CareBear

O) Overnight hospital stays: Twice. Once in 3rd grade and once when I was in 11th grade I think.  Both times for pneumonia.

P) Pet Peeve: When people don't use their blinkers!  I'm sure I could think of many more!

Q) Quote: Right now my favorite quote is "What Doesn't Challenge You, Doesn't Change You."

R) Righty or Lefty: Righty

S) Siblings: sister - Kelly

U) University Attended: Cameron University - have a degree in MultiMedia Design.  Do I use it?  Nope!

V) Vegetables you dislike: Tomatoes

W) What makes you run late: My dog... she whines and makes me think she has to go outside so I follow her to the door...but she goes straight to her treats!  She tricks me every morning and I always fall for it!

X) X-rays you've had: mouth, neck, chest, wrist, ankle

Y) Yummy food: pizza, cupcakes, and chips and queso

Z) Zoo animal favorite: baby seals - love them - or monkeys

Comments

  1. This is too good I love this idea. I despise tomatoes and laundry. I save it all up to carry home in a suitcase so I can do it at my parent's house haha.

I'm 5'3" and I wish I had a king bed. This girl likes to sprawl out

Nail Files and a Giveaway

Today I'm linking up with Tara and Vicki  for their fabulous linkup party, The Nail Files. Essie : Turquoise and Caicos Julep : Ivy Annnnd...I'm doing something a little special for my readers today - a nail polish giveaway!!  I am admittedly copying Christina over at Easily Entertained .  :) She recently did a nail polish giveaway (that I missed out on..boo) and I thought what a GREAT way to get rid of some of my overflowing collection of polishes!!! You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. All of these polishes are slightly used (maybe 2 or 3 times) except for the CHI brand and the green Ulta one - those have never been used.  The glitter pots and the lipgloss are also brand spankin' new. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Halloween Treats

For work gifts this year, I used these free printables  and these free printables  to make these cute little treats!  I had a lot of fun making them.  I dragged my poor mom and David around to so many stores looking for different colored Tic Tacs and eyeball candy.  I wanted very badly to make the Vampire Vitamins...who knew it would be so hard to find red Tic Tacs! I also made this easy Halloween Bark. What You Need:   1 Package Halloween Oreos Candy Corn 2 Packages Wilton Candy Melts in White Halloween Sprinkles - I ended up using different sprinkles than the ones in the picture...a girl has a right to change her mind, right? Pretzels - I stole these out of our Trick-or-Treat bowl because I felt like it needed something to offset all the sweetness. 1. Crumble up the Oreos.  I crushed some by hand, some in my food processor and broke some in halves and some in fourths.  Spread out on cookie sheet over wax/parchment paper.  Sprinkle candy corn
