Beauty Box Reveal!!

First I want to thank Tiffany at Blabbering Thoughts for hosting this fun beauty swap.  Also want to thank Megan and Andrea for co-hosting with her!!

Blabbering Thoughts

I finally received my package after a loooonngg week of waiting ... gotta love snail mail!!  The first swap I did, my package to someone got lost and now this time the package to me got lost!!  Maybe I should stop doing swaps....yea right! :)

It was definitely worth the wait though...Cassie @ Overuse I Love You hooked me up!!  Look at everything I got!!

  • LA Colors Eyeshadow in Lotus.  I've seen this brand before and have been wanting to try it out.  I love trying new eyeshadow colors - my favorite color in this trio is the pink!  How fun!
  • Wet n Wild Fast Dry Nail Polish in How I Met Your Magenta.  This color was so perdy!  It had almost a gold shimmer to it.  I painted my nails with it as soon as I opened up my package and it was dry by the time I got done taking pics!
  • Two Nail Files (which I NEEDED).  I love the bright blue and pink colors.  Not that it really matters if they match or not, but I love how she color coordinated the polish, eyeshadow, and nail files.  It's the little things :)
  • LA Colors Lipgloss in Clearly Said.  I've been needing a good clear lipgloss and this is very moisturizing as well as super shiny.
  • A CUTE CUTE necklace - it says Live Laugh Love - the camera on my phone wasn't cooperating and wouldn't focus.  Guess I should actually use my fancy camera, huh?  And, if I stalked her correctly on the internet...she MADE it!!  Go check her store out here.

And look at that cute little basket she sent the nail polish and necklace in!!!  Thank you so much, Cassie, for spoiling me with all of my new beauty products!!  Go show her some love here!!

I sent my package of goodies to this amazing blogger, Christine!  Go check out her blog and her Beauty Box Reveal!!

Nail Files and a Giveaway

Today I'm linking up with Tara and Vicki  for their fabulous linkup party, The Nail Files. Essie : Turquoise and Caicos Julep : Ivy Annnnd...I'm doing something a little special for my readers today - a nail polish giveaway!!  I am admittedly copying Christina over at Easily Entertained .  :) She recently did a nail polish giveaway (that I missed out on..boo) and I thought what a GREAT way to get rid of some of my overflowing collection of polishes!!! You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. All of these polishes are slightly used (maybe 2 or 3 times) except for the CHI brand and the green Ulta one - those have never been used.  The glitter pots and the lipgloss are also brand spankin' new. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Halloween Treats

For work gifts this year, I used these free printables  and these free printables  to make these cute little treats!  I had a lot of fun making them.  I dragged my poor mom and David around to so many stores looking for different colored Tic Tacs and eyeball candy.  I wanted very badly to make the Vampire Vitamins...who knew it would be so hard to find red Tic Tacs! I also made this easy Halloween Bark. What You Need:   1 Package Halloween Oreos Candy Corn 2 Packages Wilton Candy Melts in White Halloween Sprinkles - I ended up using different sprinkles than the ones in the picture...a girl has a right to change her mind, right? Pretzels - I stole these out of our Trick-or-Treat bowl because I felt like it needed something to offset all the sweetness. 1. Crumble up the Oreos.  I crushed some by hand, some in my food processor and broke some in halves and some in fourths.  Spread out on cookie sheet over wax/parchment paper.  Sprinkle candy corn
